The Doctor Module of ChargeGrabber features the following capabilities:
- ChargeGrabber can accommodate up to 20 separate groups, or categories, of patients.
- An unlimited number of patients can populate each patient group.
- You can populate ChargeGrabber with a custom set of ICD-10 diagnosis codes and
billing codes required for your practice, and add additional codes on the fly. - For each patient, doctors can select diagnoses, billing code, billing doctor, admitting
doctor, date of admission, on-service/consult, signout notes, and biller notes. - ChargeGrabber enables doctors to select codes by typing a portion of the code
description and then selection list then automatically filters based on the entry - Each doctor in your practice can view patient information entered by all other doctors in
your practice, creating practice-wide accountability. - Doctors can add new patients to a daily list at any time.
- Doctors can add new diagnoses and billing codes at any time.
- Doctors can view patient lists for the current day or previous days.
- Doctors can create daily lists patient data based on charge data from previous day(s),
complete with their diagnosis and billing codes. Particularly for hospital patients who
are admitted for multiple days, this significantly simplifies charge capture. - ChargeGrabber is easy to use and requires minimal training. ChargeGrabber has
complete online help, an online tutorial, and downloadable PDF manuals. - ChargeGrabber records an audit trail of which Doctors viewed and edited specific
patient data.
The Administration Module of ChargeGrabber features the following capabilities:
- Administrators can create daily lists patient data based on charge data from previous day(s), complete with their diagnosis and
billing codes. - Administrators can create daily lists of patients for future days, such on a Friday an Administrator can create lists for a Saturday and
Sunday. - Administrator can retrieve reports of billing information based on date, patient name, or medical record number.
- Administrator can export billing reports to Excel.
- Administrators can add/edit/delete diagnoses and billing codes at any time.
- Administrators can add/edit/delete Doctor logins to ChargeGrabber, up to the maximum number purchased.
- Administrators can create/edit/delete Doctor passwords to ChargeGrabber.
- There are two levels of Administrator access - Standard Administrator (access to billing reports only) and Super Administrator
(access to maintain entire ChargeGrabber account). - Administrators can create/edit/delete Administrator login credentials to ChargeGrabber.
